The reading for this year takes us through the New Testament, the Psalms, Proverbs, and Isaiah 61 through the book of Malachi. In this plan, 1st & 2nd Chronicles are placed at the end of our Old Testament reading following the way the books are arranged in the TaNaK (The Jewish arrangement of the Old Testament).
